Her Eyes

It is the perfect time of year for a still life artist looking for flowers. They just seem to be everywhere. I found these on the street in front of someone’s garden that just so happened to be open to the public that day. I was invited in by the owner and told that they were Mallow flowers and that each petal of a Mallow flower seems to echo the subtle depths of a woman’s inner world, soft yet powerful, with an air of mystery. So there you go. Mallow. I tried my best to represent them well.
