The reference for this painting came from a nice dude we met on the beach who had an old camera from the 60’s that looked like some alien thing. I can’t remember if he asked or we asked to take our photograph but we said yes.
When painting a photograph i think it’s best to go off in another direction so that the painting and the photograph both can be stand alone pieces of art.
