A demo I did for my still life workshop. We worked with a limited colour range to challenge us to only use one strong primary or secondary colour and the rest of our colours would be lower in intensity. In this painting yellow was my strongest colour, so that would mean that purple or violet, which is on the opposite end of the colour spectrum, would be quite muted in intensity.
